We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Enrichment Teachers' Aide with a strong desire to provide quality support to staff and students, to join our growing team.
This is a full time permanent position, commencing Term 2, 2025.
Pacific Online Christian School is the distance education campus of Pacific Coast Christian School. Qualifications/Skills required:
- Willing to be an advocate for Students with Disabilities
- Understanding of legal requirements with regards to Disability Standards for Education 2005
- Understanding of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) processes, and levels of adjustments
- Work alongside, and under the direction of, the Dean of Inclusive Education and the class teachers
- Able to liaise with Inclusive Education team, and class teachers to monitor and deliver adjustments for students with disabilities
- Skills and experience in assisting students who require support, or willingness to learn these skills
- Teaching or Teacher Aide - Support qualifications and experience an advantage
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Working under the direction of the class teachers, Dean of Inclusive Education, and Learning Enrichment teachers
- Supporting students with disabilities
- Support Dean of Inclusive Education, Learning Enrichment teachers and class teachers as required
