About the Role As the Manager, Research Implementation and Social Impact, you will lead the integration of evidence-based research into service delivery, ensuring programs are effective, impactful, and continuously improving. You will collaborate with internal teams and external research partners to translate data into actionable insights, strengthen evaluation frameworks, and drive sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
- Bridge research and practice by implementing evidence-based strategies that enhance service outcomes.
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Communicate insights and impact, ensuring data-driven results influence policy and practice.
- Build strong partnerships with researchers, policymakers, and service providers to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration.
- Identify challenges and opportunities, proactively driving solutions that improve service delivery.
- Qualifications in health, research, impact assessment, social sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research implementation, evaluation, and knowledge translation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive strategy and engage stakeholders.
- Expertise in designing and applying evaluation frameworks to measure impact.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.
- Commitment to feminist and social justice principles, ensuring services are inclusive and trauma-informed.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector or social impact organisations.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
- Experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, and those from multicultural backgrounds.
