Development Project Manager

Land Specialists is looking to hire an experienced Development Project Manager to join our team at our Central Coast offices in the Tuggerah Mariners Centre of Excellence. Our team of specialist lawyers and project managers are experts in their fields and have experience working on a mixed project portfolio of medium-to-large scale residential and commercial developments. We have a strong track record managing developments valued at circa $1 billion. The team is dedicated, innovative, and collaborative, working together to achieve outstanding results and realising value-add opportunities.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning and delivering new development projects. Working closely with cross-function teams, you will ensure developments achieve their highest and best use. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of our developments.
Roles and responsibilities

Managing the end-to-end development process, from conceptualisation to completion.

Conducting feasibility studies and due diligence on potential projects.

Negotiating and securing project permits and approvals.

Coordinating project teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Monitoring project progress, budgets and quality control.

Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to foster strong relationships.
The ideal candidate

Minimum of 5+ years experience in property development, specifically in ground-up projects.

Proven ability to manage consultants and builders, with strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential.

Proactive, solution-orientated, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Great understanding of Development Application processes and relevant legislation.
