Position Overview:
PTG Group are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HSEQ coordinator to join our rapidly growing team. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within the HSEQ space of the engineering and construction services industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Help develop and maintain HSEQ procedures and guidelines in accordance with legislative requirements and industry best practice.

Partner with key stakeholders to provide recommendations, support and guidance on HSEQ matters, relevant legislation, codes of practice, technical bulletins, Australian Standards, and Industry best practices.

Ensure HSEQ requirements are monitored and maintained in accordance with relevant certified management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001).

Conduct regular audits and inspections of offices and field activities to identify potential risks and hazards and prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective and/or preventative measures.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.

Provide return-to-work (RTW) support for injured or ill employees in order to return to work as soon as safety possible.

Support all PTG branches in maintaining external accreditations, including but not limited to NATA, ISO audits and relevant road authorities.

Coordinate training of staff on HSEQ practices for improved compliance.
Qualifications and About You:

Strong knowledge of HSEQ systems and standards (eg. ISO9001, 45001, 45001 and 17025).

Qualifications in WHS (min Cert IV WHS) preferred.

Proven proficiency (minimum 2 years) in a similar role and level.

Proven proficiency (minimum 2 years) in document management systems and HSEQ methodologies within the industry.

Analytical mindset with a knack for spotting improvements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Displays initiative, passion for constant improvement and has a desire and skill to champion the HSEQ and Zero Harm culture.

Current unrestricted ‘C’ class Drivers Licence.
