Assemble Anything pride ourselves on taking the stress and worry out of Assembling Flat Packs for our customers. As the name suggests we assemble anything that comes as a Flat Pack!
We have been delivering and assembling furniture in homes and businesses of Tasmanian's for over 12 years now! We service the whole state, from our office and vehicles based in Hobart.
Our business success is attributed to our outstanding customer service, extensive knowledge of flat pack products, ability to be innovative, adoption of latest job management software, but most of all - our highly motivated and skilled employees!
We are in affect a field service, or field rep, for the many companies that sell Flat Pack furniture and equipment. Our clients range from the individual Mr and Mrs, right through to some of the largest stores and commercial manufacturers in the market.
We are a young, ambitious and driven team - our business is rapidly growing and we are constantly improving on what we do!
About the role
We are looking for someone who can work casually from 3 to 5 days a week.
We are looking for someone who can build / put together / assemble - flat pack furniture, BBQs, Equipment, Desks (workstations), anything that comes in a flatpack form. Someone who can competently use tools and drills (For more see “Skills” below).
We are ideally looking for someone who lives in or close to Hobart.
Roles and Responsibilities
To coordinate and carry out multiple jobs on any single day.
To happily operate independently, and also within a team.
Liaise with customers both in person and over the phone in a professional and friendly manner.
To think laterally and problem solve issues with flatpack products.
To happily process administrative tasks.
Provide fantastic customer service (is a must) and be well presented.

This job involves a bit of administration type work both in the field and office and so offers progression within the business in areas other than just as an assembler.

Skills and experience
Previous experience in building or carpentry, installing appliances or similar as a minimum. Experience assembling all types of flatpack (on multiple occasions please, not just once-offs) or kitchen/laundry joinery would be even better (Even if not qualified but have good experience, please still apply).
Must be a competent driver with a current manual driver’s license.
Must be highly practical.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to follow instructions (literally) and show an eagerness to learn how.
Must work well under pressure.
Must be organised and have excellent time management.
Must be tech savvy.
Must be willing to carry out "in-field" administrative tasks as well as hands on work.
It is NOT a must to supply your own tools and vehicle.
