About the Role
Dynamic has an exciting opportunity available for a 1st Year Apprentice Electrician in Adelaide. You will work in conjunction with Qualified Electricians to gain practical experience and training to become a qualified Electrical Tradesman through the combination of ‘on the job training’ and ‘off the job education’ at a third-party training provider to obtain a Certificate III in Electrotechnology over a four-year period. The successful candidates’ tasks will include, however are not limited to:

  • Carry out WHS Requirements
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes and specifications
  • Solve problems in single and three phase low voltage electrical apparatus, ac and circuits
  • Arrange circuits, control and potation for general electrical installations
  • Install and terminate low voltage wiring, accessories, switchgear appliances
  • Verify compliance and functionality of low voltage electrical installations
  • Install and maintain cabling for multiple access for telecommunications/data
  • In conjunction with the above, your on the job training will enable you to complete the below tasks but not limited to;
    • Power and Lighting circuits
    • Antenna installations
    • Fire & Smoke Alarm Circuits
    • Switchboards & control gear
    • FTTH provisions and Hubs installations
    • Visual, Voice and Data Installations and terminations of Fibre-optic cabling, CAT.5; RG6 Cabling
    • Alarm Wiring
  • Accurately complete and submit JSA’s in accordance with DTS procedures
  • Adhoc duties as instructed


Apprentices are required to attend a Registered Training Organization (RTO) to complete ‘off the job’ training.
Attendance is usually a structured release of one day a per week or in one-week blocks.
