Civmec are currently seeking highly skilled Electricians to join our Construction team working on the Rio Tinto Western Range project located in the Pilbara, Western Australia.

This iron ore processing facility involves closing out the construction phase of a run-of-mine (ROM) pad, primary crushing facility, overland conveying circuit, HV switching, and associated plan

The Role

This position offers a FIFO 3:1 roster on dayshift and a FIFO 2:1 roster on nightshift, with flights available from all Australian capital cities, allowing you to contribute to the successful completion of this Greenfields project.

Your tasks will include:

  • Installation and terminating of equipment
  • Pulling cables
  • Testing and tagging
  • Lighting and small power installation

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card.
  • A Western Australian Grade A Electrical License.
  • A valid Working at Heights certification (desirable).
  • A current High Risk Work License with EWP (WP).
  • Valid First Aid, LVR & CPR certifications (desirable).
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
  • Demonstrated skills in First Attack Firefighting Equipment (desirable).
  • A willingness to complete RIO Inductions and Face-to-Face Aveling training.
