Are you an innovative professional passionate about leveraging data and information systems to drive impactful decisions? Join our team as an Information Systems Specialist and play a vital role in shaping the future of information and data management in the Murraylands and Riverland region.

As an Information Systems Specialist, you will:

  • Enhance decision making and continuous improvement by researching, implementing and supporting high quality information and data management systems.
  • Empower our team through training and support, ensuring information systems meet the needs of the stakeholder.
  • Be a voice for the region, actively representing the Murraylands and Riverland in user groups, facilitating timely communication, and staying ahead of the latest tools and technology
  • Maintain robust systems to align with policy, procedures and relevant legislation.

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Be adept at digesting diverse information, identifying key issues, and evaluating broad impacts on the organisation
  • Build and nurture strong relationships within the organisation and with external stakeholders, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Be a problem solver, able to understand core issues and identify practical solutions.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Government directions, board responsibilities, and information management systems principles.
  • Stay informed of the latest in information management systems and willingly share technical knowledge with team members.

Desirable Qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in project management, information management, or a related area.

Contract:

Contract for up to 3 years.

Remuneration:

CLASSIFICATION ASO5 $85,790 min - $95,413 max p.a.
