- Provide services in a variety of settings - in people’s homes, clinics, the community and at day centres
- Conduct assessments, implement high quality therapeutic interventions and strategies, and review and evaluate client needs
- Help clients meet their goals and safely participate in daily activities, especially mealtimes and communication
- Provide supervision, mentoring and support to other Speech Pathologists
- Keep thorough documentation and progress notes in line with funding requirements and internal processes
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to develop and advance service delivery
- Participate in research and service development projects when required
- A Speech Pathologist registered with Speech Pathology Australia
- Proven track record as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist with sound understanding of a variety of disabilities that affect children and young people
- Confident managing clients with complex care needs including dysphagia
- Respectful team player who is motivated by ongoing learning and passionate about family centred practice
- Models values of connection, curiosity, courage and commitment to achieve outcomes that make a positive impact
