About the Role:

Are you ready to shift gears & lead the charge in maintaining our fleet of modern luxury coaches at our bustling Yulara workshop? As the Leading Hand, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our vehicles operate at their peak while enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of Ayers Rock.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone ready to relocate and embark on an exciting new chapter. To help make your move as smooth as possible, we’ll provide accommodation upon arrival and as well as relocation assistance. About You:

We're on the lookout for a passionate leader with a knack for mechanics and a heart for adventure. Bring your heavy diesel trade qualification, mechanical prowess, and a can-do attitude to the table. In this role you will have:

  • Relevant heavy diesel trade qualification
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred but not essential (mentoring available)
  • Mechanical Trade Qualified to Australian Standards
  • HR Drivers licence or we can assist as required
  • Refrigerant handling licence preferred but not essential
  • Great time management, planning and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead our preventive maintenance program to uphold the highest standards to ensure our vehicles are always compliant.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the Yulara/Ayers Rock and Alice Springs depots, with monthly travel to Alice Springs required.
  • Masterfully coordinate workflows, repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Guide and inspire our team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Roll up your sleeves and actively contribute to vehicle repairs and service.
  • Keep our spare parts store stocked and budgets in check.
