About the role

Join the People Services team within People & Culture and help make every interaction a positive experience for Red Cross people.

You will be part of a busy team providing people services nationally, from policy and procedure advice and support on first level queries, to end to end admin across the employee life cycle including compliance and position management.

It’s an exciting time to join us and grow your HR experience! You will also be exposed to a number of org-wide and P&C projects including the embedding of HRIS Phase 2. Ultimately, it’s all about streamlining and enhancing our people experiences.

What you will bring

  • Experience in providing HR administrative support and generalist HR advice in high-volume environments, inclusive of employee and payroll correspondence
  • Experience using a ticketing system / Dayforce / HRIS highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to apply understanding of HR policies and process, employment law and Award frameworks
  • Ability to identify the most effective and efficient processes to achieve outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems generally found in policies and practices
  • Ability to build strong customer and client relationships and delivers customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise own work
  • Excellent communicator, with a strong customer service focus and excellent attention to detail

Further information

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4. Salary from $85,145.84 FTE + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
