Workfast is looking for Concrete Agi Drivers for an immediate start on an ongoing basis in Kalgoorlie WA.***This is for local candidates only. Not a FIFO position.***
What you get
- $45.20 per hour + overtime penalties
- Monday - Friday - must be flexible to work every second weekend
- 8 - 10 hour days
- Kalgoorlie Residency. ** Must be local **
- HR Driver Licence with a clean driving record.
- Drivers Medical (Highly desirable)
- Previous experience as an agitator driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Construction White Card
- Work safe WA Fatigue Management Certificate
- Strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
What you will be doing
- Driving and delivering concrete around Kalgoorlie
- Safely operate an agitator truck to deliver premixed concrete to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the concrete mixer to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
- Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including drivers' instructions.
- Assist with regular maintenance activities as directed by the production supervisor, including completing the Daily Operator Checklist and ensuring truck and mixer cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of the concrete in the mixer to ensure it conforms to the nominated specifications.
- Monitor and maintain the slump of each load within tolerance limits.
