About Us
The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.
In 2024, the RFDS launched a new five-year strategy ‘Above and Beyond’, which marks an important new chapter in the long Flying Doctor history.
The RFDS is commencing an exciting period of expansion, with the aim of providing a bigger community impact in the areas where it’s needed most – primary health care.
We are introducing various initiatives to set up, scale, and expand our primary health care services.
The RFDS Goldfields Health Centre will strive to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of those living in Western Australia's Goldfields region by providing high-quality, accessible and patient-centred health care that meets the needs of the local community.
