About the role
Billet Engineering is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stores/Purchasing professional to join our dynamic West Kalgoorlie-based team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, processing orders, and supporting our overall procurement operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing and logistics company.
What you'll be doing

Overseeing the efficient management of our inventory, including stock control, ordering, and delivery coordination

Processing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all stock levels, orders, and deliveries

Identifying opportunities to improve inventory management and procurement processes

Providing support to the wider operations team as required
What we're looking for

Proven experience in a stores/purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records

Proficiency in using inventory management and procurement software

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
