This is a permanent part-time (0.63FTE) position commencing ASAP
Moora Residential College is located in a safe and secure setting next to Central Midlands Senior High School.
Moora is a small community located 172km north-east of Perth in a pastoral and farming district. The college has close ties with the community. We have a Local Input Networking and Communications (LINC) committee which includes representatives from the community. They provide advice and support to the college manager and staff.
The Role
The Cleaner will vacuum bedrooms, offices, hallways and student recreation areas, including TV rooms, games rooms and common areas; and you will mop and clean hallways, offices and student recreation areas. You will wash and dry linen, including student bedding and towels. The successful applicant will clean, mop, scrub and disinfect all toilet/ablutions areas whilst keeping windows and window ledges clean, dust and wipe all required surfaces and items as instructed.
The cleaner will collect and empty rubbish bins from student recreation areas, offices and hallways and ensure occupational health and safety standards are maintained whilst keeping the college clean, well maintained and presented.

Eligibility

be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit. obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check. complete the Department’s online training in manual tasks and hazardous substances within 3 months of commencement. complete Fundamentals of Cleaning training as soon as practicable.
