About the role
We are a local family business based in Busselton seeking a powdercoater/yardhand to join our team. We specialise in manufacturing and powdercoating of fencing and gate products.
To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following requirements.
Powder coating experience preferred but not necessary, training can be provided to the right person.
Individual with ability to follow instructions and meat deadlines.
Good knowledge of different types of materials. Steel/Aluminium.
Knowledge of powder coating equipment and accessories.
Chemical Handling Experience
Ability to work as a team to achieve common goals.
Must be punctual and show great attention to detail.
Forklift & Drivers Licence
Your duties will include.
POWDERCOATER/YARDHAND
Ensuring all materials are correctly prepped for powder coating.
Selecting correct colours for specified jobs.
Cutting up material for jobs.
Equipment to be kept clean.
Ensure all jobs are adequately inspected after completion.
Prep and clean all surfaces.
Attention to detail ensuring all items for jobs are ready for Powder coater.
Help with lifting and hanging of materials for Powder coating.
Inspecting finished product to ensure it meets standards.
Package and wrap materials for safe transport.
