The Role
We are seeking a Planning Coordinator to join our team on a 5:2 (Mon-Fri) roster based in Perth. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Coordinator to work across Planning and Mobilisation for our rapidly expanding teams on site.
Reporting to the Mobilisation and Planning Team Leads you will be responsible for supporting both the planning and mobilisation functions during peak periods. This role takes on a 360-approach servicing our shutdowns from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and key Warrikal personnel to define job requirements, including staffing, training, dates, and assets
- Identify and communicate potential planning shortfalls to stakeholders
- Collaborate with Recruitment to fulfil resourcing needs via Warrikal planning software
- Raise requisitions through Warrikal Purchasing systems
- Maintain the Job Tracker to monitor key planning dates and personnel requirements
- Escalate significant scope or resourcing changes to the Resource Planning Manager prior to approval
- Assess and map incoming work, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure Warrikal resource capability
- Book travel and accommodation in line with Warrikal Travel policies
- Prepare and distribute labour lists within client-specified timeframes
- Respond promptly to client communications
- Communicate effectively with personnel via Warrikal systems regarding scheduled works
- Manage daily arrivals and departures accurately and on time
- Promote use of the Warrikal Web App to all personnel
About You
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
- Possess 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the resources sector
- Proficient in using training, mobilisation, or planning software such as ERMS, SuccessFactors, and INX
- Experience with planning or workforce management systems like OPMS, IFS, or SAP is advantageous
- Demonstrates strong teamwork and work ethic, with the ability to adapt to change
- Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Exhibits high organisational skills to manage mobilisation requirements
- Able to develop and maintain professional interpersonal relationships with all personnel and stakeholders
