About the role – Project Manager (Expression of Interest)
In our newly created Project Manager role, your contributions will have a direct impact on our success.
You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our in-field team of Construction Supervisors and Distribution Lineworkers, ensuring compliance to contractual agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Actively promote and embed UGL's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within the team
- Overseeing overhead and underground construction and maintenance operations, ensuring quality, cost, safety, and performance standards are met within timelines
- Driving continuous improvement in performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
- Fostering a positive team culture of inclusion, responsiveness, honesty, and accountability
About You
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, leadership, integrity and innovation. Your qualifications and experience should include:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the ESI in a management role such as Project Manager, Site Manager, Foreman or Supervisor
- Having worked directly with Western Power is highly desired for this role
- Experience leading a team of Lineworkers, particularly in live line Glove & Barrier works
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental legislation, codes of practice, and standards relevant to the Western Power network
- Ability to build a strong team and invest in their growth
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
