About Our Client
Our client is an Australian-owned, integrated, multidisciplinary heavy engineering and construction services provider to the energy, resources, infrastructure, marine and defence sectors. Working in Henderson with exciting future projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- The successful candidate will have great knowledge with reading plans and being able to execute these. The role also entails:
- Weld navy ships and offshore patrol vessels
- Shipbuilding all steel
- Flux core welding with ceramic backing, flux weld, tack weld, fillet weld, and heavy structural welding
- Confined space welding on the hull, structure, and internals of ships
- Weld to Defence standards and pass 100% x-ray testing of components
What You Require
- Cert III Engineering Fabrication.
- White Card
- Confined Spaces
- Willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
- Marine Vessell Experience.
