Role Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background in SMP and E&I.
This role will be DIDO from Perth. You will join our client's team, reporting to the Project Manager.
6-month contract for brownfield projects, predominantly at the execution and commissioning phase.
We will consider mid-level to senior-level candidates.
Benefits
- Work for a Tier 1 Owner/Operator
- $90 - $120ph incl super (depending on experience)
- 5/2 | 4/3 DIDO roster
- WFH flexibility
- 6-month contract (with possible extension)
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Experience working on-site and client-side
- Experience within mineral processing fixed plant for brownfield projects
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, etc
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support cost and schedule tracking
- Run weekly project meetings and manage TQs, design changes, and action tracking
- Assist in developing the commissioning plan with Design Engineers and Contractors
- Liaise between Design Engineers and NBG Supervisors
- Oversee Factory and Site Acceptance Testing for SMP and E&I scopes
- Manage MDRs, as-builts, and test documentation
- Assist with handover, close-out, and support other project closures
