Details of Job Description:
- Safely operating livestock transport vehicles, including MC class trucks
- Loading, unloading and securing livestock in compliance with animal welfare regulations
- Maintaining detailed trip logs and documentation
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle road worthiness
- Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures and company policies
- Local accommodation provided if required
Profile
To succeed in this role you will need to have the following;
- Previous experience as a Livestock MC Driver is beneficial
- Current MC driver's licence and a proven safe driving record
- Knowledge of livestock handling and transport regulations
- Current fatigue management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and animal welfare
