Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design across both print and digital platforms, with the ability to create visually appealing layouts for newspapers, print advertisements, web adverts, social media content, commercial print products and various signage formats.
Key Responsibilities:
• eye-catching advertisements and newspaper layouts that enhance reader engagement.
• Design commercial print materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
• Collaborate with editorial and advertising teams to ensure cohesive design elements.
Digital Design:
• Create web adverts, including banners and graphics, to improve user experience.
• Design compelling visuals for social media platforms to boost audience interaction.
Signage Design:
• Produce designs for both large and small format signage, ensuring clarity and visual impact.
• Work closely with the production team to oversee the implementation of signage projects.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably within a media or signage environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
• Photography and video editing skills are a plus.
