About The Host Employer
We’re seeking a 2nd or 3rd-year apprentice or those qualified with a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology to join our host employer, a well-established company with over 30 years of expertise in heavy vehicle repairs. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on trucks and buses in a supportive and skilled team environment.
What We're Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is:
- Completed a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or some mechanical knowledge
- Currently enrolled completing a Cert III in Heavy Vehicle, either 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year or willing to enrol in 1st year
- Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
- Has access to car and license or lives locally to Morisset
About The Role
In this role, you’ll gain real-world experience while studying for a Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanical Technology.
- Assisting experienced tradespeople with heavy vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Organising and managing parts for repair tasks.
- Conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Assisting with breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient workshop environment.

Additional information
- Full-time position located in Morisset, NSW.
- PAID training to complete your Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mecha
- Work Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3 pm, with potential overtime.
