The Opportunity

As a Mentor you will provide training to Departmental staff in the ASSIST Information System.

ASSIST is Child Protection and Family Support's primary case management system which is used to record and manage child protection and family support activities. It integrates with an internal Communities software program for the automated creation of client records (files and documents). District Mentors provide first level support to users.

Your day to day may include:

  • Providing staff with support using ASSIST and Objective Programs,
  • Ensuring critical information is documented on the Objective Client file and within ASSIST in accordance with Departmental practice,
  • Supporting recording client information and Case Practice and Field work in Service Delivery, and participating as a member of Client Systems in Project Work, and
  • Promoting staff development by facilitating attendance at training.
