The Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering impactful projects that support our community and infrastructure. We're looking for a driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes.


In this role, you will

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning and procurement to implementation, commissioning, and handover

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet safety, quality, and compliance standards

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and regulators to ensure project success

  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control in line with governance frameworks

  • Champion a safe, collaborative, and values-driven work environment, while working both independently and within teams

  • Support clear communication and community engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

What we're looking for

We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager who can confidently lead complex projects and deliver meaningful outcomes for our community. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical know-how, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to drive success across all phases of project delivery.

  • Project management expertise – Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end project delivery, from planning and procurement through to implementation and handover

  • Results-focused mindset – Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with safety, quality, and compliance requirements

  • Strong stakeholder engagement – Skilled in building positive working relationships with contractors, consultants, regulators, and internal stakeholders

  • Financial and governance capability – Experience in managing budgets, tracking project costs, and adhering to governance and reporting frameworks

  • Collaborative and safety-conscious – A team player who promotes a safe, inclusive, and values-driven work environment

  • Clear communicator – Confident in both internal and external communication, with the ability to engage the community and support effective messaging throughout the project lifecycle.

The Details

This role can be based in either Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport and attracts a salary of $124,474 - $152,134 (inclusive of superannuation), negotiable dependent on experience.
