We are proud of our reputation for quality, safety, and teamwork. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our team at our Longford site.
About the Role
Are you hands-on, safety-focused, and ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support or team and keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced, higher performance environment.
As a Trade Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in assisting our team with a variety of tasks. From operating power tools to managing inventory and supporting repairs, you'll be a key contributor to the success of our day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing

Assisting tradespeople with general maintenance tasks
-
Safely operating power tools and equipment
-
Helping with repairs and upkeep of facilities
-
Receiving, storing, and distributing PPE, tools, and materials

Keeping accurate stock records and maintaining inventory levels
-
Ensuring clean, safe, and organised workspaces
-
Supporting the preparation and shipment of parts
-
Disposing of waste safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For
Essential:
-
Industry Induction Card (White Card)
-
Medium Rigid (MR) Truck License
-
Hands-on experience with power tools
-
Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong safety focus and solid work ethic
-
Great communication, time management, and attention to detail
-
Eagerness to learn and grow within the role
Desirable (or willingness to obtain):
-
Certifications in Work at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test, Forklift, and EWP
-
Heavy Rigid (HR) Truck License (highly desirable)
-
Experience in heavy industry or fixed plant maintenance

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid working permit or visa

Satisfactory completion of 2 professional reference checks

Applicants much successfully pass a Police/Background Check and will be required to undertake a Medical/Drug Test as part of the recruitment process
