Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Unit are looking for several Principal Patient and Quality Advisor's to join their team. The Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Team provides leadership and support for patient safety and quality at an organisational level, through incident monitoring, review, advice and training, to support best practice and shared learning. This team will have strong links with Directorate based Safety and Quality Units.

About the Role

  • Responsible for clinical leadership for patient safety and quality improvement services through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills and competency according to contemporary practice and standards of care.
  • Collaborate and supports nursing leadership and the broader interdisciplinary team to deliver safe clinical practice in alignment with organisation goals and unit priorities.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in the provision of contemporary nursing practice.
