About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to support the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for clinical services across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Support the Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of clinical services procurement, management and reporting within Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
  • Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency.
  • Ensure communication and consultation with key department personnel to ensure all procurement processes are compliant and inclusive, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring successful procurement outcomes.
  • Undertake procurement activities as directed by the Principal Procurement & Contract Officer including maintaining a positive relationship with all customers and suppliers.
