Position Summary:
The Management Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of STG Global AU, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:

Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.

Prepare financial analysis and reports for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.

Monitor and report on key manufacturing KPIs, including cost of goods sold (COGS), margins, and inventory valuation.
Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads and operations teams.

Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts; investigate and explain variances.
Cost Accounting & Inventory Control:

Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems tailored to manufacturing operations.

Monitor inventory costing, work-in-progress (WIP), and raw materials accounting.

Provide financial guidance on pricing, product costing, and profitability analysis.
Compliance & Audit:

Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audit processes.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and data integrity.
Business Partnering:

Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and sales teams to drive cost efficiencies and financial performance.

Contribute to financial modelling and decision-making for capital investments, process changes, or expansion plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
