About the role

Our Branch Managers are hardworking and passionate about who we are and what we do. They enjoy working in a small environment and enjoy being the face of the company to internal staff as well as interacting with customers and our suppliers.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join our dynamic and growing company. This position is located at our facility in Cairns. This is a permanent full-time role working 6.30am - 2.36pm Monday to Friday.

Your new position will involve overseeing the planning for warehouse layouts, storage and distribution of products and materials within the branch. Including but not limited to allocation of truck runs, shift reports and people management including recruitment, onboarding new staff and performance reviews throughout the year.

About you

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with various departments both internally and externally

  • A HR Licence driving experience with good driving history

  • A Forklift Licence and experience

  • Experience in warehousing and delivering bulky goods

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • A professional manner and presentation

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Computer literate

  • A good knowledge of the surrounding regional areas
