Reporting to the Merchandising Manager this is a Casual Merchandiser position located in the Cairns area, 5 hrs per wk. Usually on a Wednesday and Thursday - Merchandising the John Sands products in the stores of our customers.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Ensuring accounts are fully stocked and tidy to maximise customers sales

Placing re-orders for product

Using planograms to set up displays and related point of sale materials

Setting up seasonal displays

Liaising with owners / store management regarding displays

Removing all damaged merchandise

Participating in installations and revamps when required

Identifying additional sales opportunities

Whilst previous experience as a Merchandiser is advantageous, it is not mandatory as full training will be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will be well rewarded for their initiative and contribution to the team.
