A leading renewable energy operator is looking for site-based electricians to support the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase of large-scale solar farms in regional NSW and QLD.
These roles are hands-on, essential to the long-term performance of the site, and perfect for someone who’s ready to get stuck into meaningful work on the ground.
What you’ll be doing:Carrying out routine maintenance and electrical repairs on solar farm equipment – inverters, combiner boxes, modules, LV/MV systems, and moreUsing monitoring systems and SCADA to identify and fix faults quickly and safelyCompleting inspections, testing, and reports in line with WHS and Australian StandardsSupporting stock control, reporting, and coordination with off-site technical teams or OEMsFollowing site safety and environmental procedures at all times – non-negotiable
What you’ll need:A current NSW or QLD Electrical Licence (depending on the site)Solid experience with solar PV, industrial, or utility electrical systemsA valid driver’s licence and White CardThe ability to work independently and make good decisions in a remote locationA strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
It’s a bonus if you:Live locally or in a nearby regional areaHave previous experience working on utility-scale solar sitesCan travel between sites or stay on-site when needed
