Our client's range to working with small end commercial service on splits, ducts, VRV to bigger systems such as central plants and chillers.
You will be responsible to:
- Perform maintenance and service-related tasks on a variety of commercial HVAC projects.
- Attend break-down and service calls.
- Prepare quotes and organise a variety of HVAC works.
- Produce Service Reports for clients and office.
- Carry out your duties safely and report any potential safety hazards.
- Instruct and supervise subcontractors, technicians and apprentices.
- Provide adequate supervision and instruction to contractors and apprentices in your care.
- Maintain a high level of technical skills and knowledge through the undertaking of professional development.
- Assume responsibility / control of site safety when acting as the senior technician on site.
- Full Australian working rights
- Trade qualifications in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
- ARCtick licence for the handling of refrigerant gas.
- Restricted Electrical Licence (D-Licence)
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of occupational health and safety principles.
- Valid Car Drivers licence.
- Competent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
- Experience in sales and quoting of service-related jobs.
- Other relevant WorkCover or WHS related courses including WHS Consultation, Elevated work platforms, working at heights etc.
- Experience in installation and construction duties.
- Provide adequate supervision and instruction to contractors and apprentices in your care.
- Maintain a high level of technical skills and knowledge through the undertaking of professional development.
- Assume responsibility / control of site safety when acting as the senior technician on site.
