Position Overview:
In close collaboration with the GM of Business Development, you will be crucial in identifying and securing new business opportunities while preparing precise cost estimates for tenders. This role calls for a strategic mindset in client engagement, market analysis, and bid development to drive revenue growth and establish competitive pricing strategies.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the preparation of accurate cost estimates to secure new contracts on a national capacity
- Collaborating with internal teams to refine estimates and create compelling proposals.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to shape our business development strategies.
- Negotiating contract terms, pricing, and project scope with clients with the Head of Strategic Growth.
- Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in estimating and business development.
- Maintaining the CRM and other business development and estimating tools to ensure transparency in activities and customer profiles.
- Working closely with the operations team to enhance customer retention efforts.
- Providing estimating support to other business units as directed.

Your Attributes and Qualifications:
We seek an outstanding team player who excels in estimating in the commercial cleaning industry.
You will demonstrate the following:
- Proficiency in estimating software, CRM systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to analyse financial data, project costs, and market trends.
- Fabulous attention to detail, numeracy appreciation and excellent communication skills to excel
- A strong understanding of cost estimating methodologies, bid preparation and contract negotiations, and the ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
