About The Role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 31 December 2025*
This hands-on role involves working as part of a line marking and spray sealing crew, carrying out road maintenance tasks using specialised equipment under general supervision. Based primarily at the Samaria Road Depot in Benalla, the role requires flexibility to work overtime and travel across Victoria, with accommodation and allowances provided when working away from home.

Key Selection Criteria
The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking a dedicated Road Worker – Line Marking to join the Surfacing Delivery team, based in Benalla. The role involves carrying out road maintenance, spray sealing, and line marking tasks using specialised equipment, while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Candidates must be flexible, able to travel across Victoria, and work overtime as required. Strong teamwork, sound judgement, and clear communication skills are essential.

Mandatory
Current Victorian Drivers LicenceCurrent Medium Rigid Truck Licence (Medium Rigid or higher)Current Construction Induction White CardCurrent Traffic Management TicketCurrent First Aid CertificateWorking knowledge of computer tablets / mobile devices
