Position Overview
Based in Swan Hill the Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for managing all operational aspects of the business, including production, logistics, warehousing, WHS, quality, maintenance, and procurement. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring that all operational areas and personnel operate smoothly and efficiently.
As the Operations Manager, you will be expected to implement effective systems and processes, manage budgets, and develop a cohesive operational leadership team. Your strategic oversight will ensure that the company's operational goals are met, facilitating growth and excellence in service delivery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, with a track record of operational management in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant business qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Operations Manager.
- Proficient in ERP systems with extensive experience in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of LEAN principles and experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication and people management skills.
The successful candidate will be organised, able to manage competing priorities, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. A background in Rotomoulding or relevant product knowledge is highly regarded.
