About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Professional to join the GrainCorp Human Resources team to be part of a dynamic and value-adding group of professionals who strive to build a fantastic employee experience by partnering with, and coaching leaders. Based at our Marong site (with a Hybrid working arrangement on offer), you will be empowered in your role to autonomously deliver people and culture outcomes across a portfolio consisting of regional operations and port sites in Victoria.
In this dynamic and exciting position you will drive a number of diverse initiatives including; leadership development, coaching, safety and wellbeing projects. Key responsibilities will include;
- Strategically aligned people plan to drive outcomes aligned to business objectives
- Lead Industrial Relations strategies and negotiations that align with business maximise commercial opportunities and according to overarching IR strategy
- Coaching for leaders in modern leadership to achieve business outcomes
- Talent activation includes the deployment of development/learning initiatives and development planning
- Embedding the people aspects of organisational change and business improvement initiatives
- Embedding GrainCorp Values across all activity and reinforcing them as a driver for decision making
- Informed people insights advocate – ensuring familiar with key data points to drive valuable discussion and decision making
- Drive completion of key people calendar activities including goal setting, performance reviews; employee survey and talent reviews
- Embedding key people related programs, activities, and benefits – be a strong and visible advocate
- Advocate the employee value proposition and total rewards
- Advisory for change management initiatives, organisation/departmental restructures, job design and evaluation
- Well managed and orderly employee relations matter resolution
About your experience
You will bring experience as a commercial and pragmatic HR Business Partner within an industrialised environment with several Enterprise Agreements to oversee. Occasional travel will be part of the role. Key skills we are looking for in our successful candidate are;
- Solid experience across IR/ER
- Demonstrated experience negotiating EAs with Unions
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Commercial experience (ie. worked in commercial enterprise).
- Demonstrated experience in HR strategic thinking and in the delivery of strategic HR projects and initiatives.
- Able to deal with ambiguity and change.
