Dental Practice Manager – Full Time or Part Time

Our friendly, well-established dental clinic, operating successfully for over 30 years, is looking for a dedicated Dental Practice Manager to oversee our daily operations. With a client base spanning a broad age group, our practice prides itself on delivering outstanding service in a warm, professional environment.

Role Overview:
As our Practice Manager, you will be at the heart of our clinic, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while supporting both the clinical and administrative teams. Your leadership will help maintain and enhance our long-standing tradition of excellent patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of a busy dental practice
- Lead and support both the dental team and administrative staff with a friendly, solution-focused approach
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, and all relevant legal requirements
- Develop and implement practice policies, systems, and procedures for continuous improvement
- Organize staff rota , manage recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives
- Supervise financial matters including budgets, invoicing, payroll support, and supplier payments
- Work closely with clinicians to maintain a high standard of patient care
- Address patient and staff inquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Oversee stock control and coordinate with suppliers to keep the practice well-equipped
- Identify and drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve the patient experience
- Assist with reception duties to support a seamless front-of-house experience
- Generate regular reports and maintain accurate practice records
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in practice management, ideally within a dental or healthcare setting
- A strong background in administration and reception, coupled with leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with practice management software (e.g. Oasis or Similar)
- Clear understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in dental practice
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive under pressure
