The office is located in North Geelong, frequent travel throughout the greater Geelong region will be required. Work from home will also be available to complete session notes, NDIS outcome report writing etc.

This position at ‘Flourish with Grace’ allows you to have a diverse caseload of (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Global Developmental Disorder (GDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), play delays, sensory and behaviour concerns. The caseload will consist of children aged between 0-12 years old.

The Occupational Therapist will be supporting children funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The participants plan will either be Plan managed or Self-managed. Sessions will either be on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis and can be delivered at a variety of venues, including Early Childhood services, schools, home visits or office based.

This position works in partnership with families, mainstream services and other stakeholders in direct contact with children, to promote the child’s quality of life and assist their development and participation. A collaborative approach is facilitated to support inclusive practices through the provision of respectful and supporting experiences that are strengths focused.

This position will carry out appropriate assessments, create individualised programs, resources and make appropriate referrals to other relevant intervention and support agencies. The Occupational Therapist is key to ensuring children are supported, in an inclusive setting to develop skills which support ongoing participation in their home and community life.
