The Opportunity
As An Area Manager, You Will
Lead and enhance quality practice across your up to 6 services, all managed day-to-day by experienced Program Managers Implement the TheirCare standards in programming, safety, quality and compliance Coach and mentor your teams to improve outcomes and share best practices Oversee rostering, budgeting, reporting, and school community engagement Build strong relationships with families, school stakeholders, and local communities Provide critical reflection and planning to support improved child outcomes in service

Driven to deliver and support exceeding practice across all services Passionate for the sector and a deep desire for improvement Awareness of and/or expertise in supporting children and young people with disability Love improving capability, developing your team and unlocking everyone’s potential

What you’ll need to succeed:
Previous experience in the childcare and disability sectors is required Strong knowledge of industry process and Regulations Strong knowledge of the National law & Regulation Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards Strong leadership and management skills Have a positive attitude and approach with a genuine desire for change Completed Diploma level qualification approved by ACECQA Employee Victoria Working with Children Check Valid First Aid, CRP, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willing to obtain) Driver’s license and ability to visit multiple services in your region

The role plays a critical part in the delivery of the Victorian Government’s High Intensity OSHC initiative (find out more at: High Intensity Outside School Hours Care Initiative for students with disabilities | vic.gov.au).The role will have oversight of some services that are fully funded by the Victorian Government and operate at low staff to child ratios to appropriately meet the needs of each participant (approximately 1 educator for every 2 children).
