Responsible for:

  • Create a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, tarts, and other baked goods.
  • Use standard recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients; manage ingredient inventory.
  • Design and decorate pastries and desserts to meet visual and quality standards.
  • Oversee baking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to prevent contamination.
  • Track and order baking supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Work with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and service.
  • Modify recipes based on customer feedback or ingredient availability.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience, supported by the necessary qualifications.
