About the role

We’re seeking a proactive and driven individual to support Macedon Ranges Shire Council in enhancing organisational resilience before, during, and after disasters. In this vital role, you'll contribute to Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), staff capability building, and the development and improvement of key processes.

Working alongside the Emergency Resilience Officer and closely with our operational teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering stronger outcomes for both the organisation and the wider community.

About you

You'll bring strong financial insight and a talent for process development, coupled with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Based in Gisborne, in the stunning Macedon Ranges, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact. Knowledge of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and related funding processes will be highly regarded.
