The Role & Project
MACA Infrastructure are seeking a Backhoe Operator to join our team based in Mt Evelyn, maintaining the Yarra Ranges. The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

Responsibilities Will Include
Carry out pre-start checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.Clearing open/table drains, culverts and pitsReport any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.
We Are Looking For
Backoe Operator with HR license and experience driving on unsealed roadsFamiliarity with or local to the Yarra Ranges ShireCommitment to safety in the workplaceConstruction white card
