Develop and maintain a detailed Program Schedule in consultation with project Team Leaders to encompass all required activities.
PROJECT MANAGER
Our Government client is seeking 1 x 1.0FTE candidate to commence ASAP for 3 months.

Duties: This role is within the Business Performance team, the role will be assisting with the implementation of an ICT Transition from one department to another.
Develop and maintain a detailed Program Schedule in consultation with project Team Leaders to encompass all required activities.
Provide guidance and expertise to support the identification of activities, estimation of durations, timeframes and resource requirements.
Ensure the Program Schedule aligns with the Program objectives and goals.
Identify, document and communicate critical paths and dependencies within the program. Identify resourcing requirements, and resourcing conflicts for activities.
Support the development of budget estimates and resource allocations.
Liaise with external dependency owners to determine timeframes for their delivery, identify risks and issues associated with their dependency, and obtain regular updates on progress.
Track and report on performance against timeframes and resources at an overall program level, as well as by individual activity or resource group as required.
Provide regular progress reports as required to Program Leadership to support ongoing management of the Program.
Experience Requirements
A current National Police Clearance check is mandatoryGovernment experience - essentialMinimum of 2 years project experienceExperience in applying expert project management knowledge to effectively lead and undertake ICT projectsProficient with MS Project to manage schedules, deadlines and resources.Ability to effectively coordinate with different teams, and analyse project information.Ability in liaising effectively and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, to facilitate cooperation and support in achieving outcomesProven high level communication skills (verbal and written).
All temporary contractors must have a valid National Police Clearance check at the time of submission, and a copy is to be provided if successful for the role.
