About the job As a Power BI Specialist , you will be responsible for end-to-end BI development, including designing, developing, and deploying Power BI reports and dashboards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI, including data modelling, ETL processes, and report/dashboard creation.
- Create and maintain data models to ensure data integrity and optimise performance in Power BI reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
- Transform raw data into meaningful visualisations and reports using Power BI tools.
- Utilise QueryM for SQL query management to extract and prepare data for analysis.
- Optimise and enhance existing reports for performance and user experience.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of Power BI and BI best practices.
Your Technical Skills and experience:
- Over 5 years of dedicated experience specializing in Power BI, with a strong focus on end-to-end BI development, including data modelling.
- Expert-level knowledge of Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
- Experience with QueryM management tool.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Proficiency with Azure services and data integration techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Microsoft Power BI certification (added advantage).
