Description:
In this role, you will carry out maintenance for any plant breakdowns, contribute to weekly/monthly/shutdown plans, and monitor mechanical stock.The site is a licensed Major Hazard Facility and is managed under a rigorous safety management system, ensuring employees are protected.
The Role
- Responsible for the completion of preventative maintenance tasks, fault finding and proactively repairing equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of an MHF Facility.
- Assist Maintenance/Shutdown Coordinators with planning and scoping out work.
- Update and close Work Orders in the CMMS after completion, with sufficient documentation.
- Minimum completion of Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a maintenance fitter/machinist in a heavy industrial environment (e.g., Chemical, Oil & Gas, Mining etc.)
- Experience in using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as MEX, SAP, Maximo, etc.
- Enthusiasm, intelligence, dedication, and an eye for detail
- WHS Safety Conscious including tickets such as: Confined Space, EWP, White Card, etc
- Troubleshooting Hydraulics/Pneumatic systems experience BENEFICIAL but NOT MANDATORY
- Experience working with PVC, Polypropylene and FRP piping BENEFICIAL but NOT MANDATORY
- Enthusiasm, intelligence, dedication, and an eye for detail.
