Description:
About Us:
Just Reinvest NSW (JRNSW) is an Aboriginal-led organisation dedicated to reducing the overrepresentation of Aboriginal people in the criminal justice system. We advocate for justice reinvestment: redirecting resources from punitive criminal justice systems toward community-led initiatives that address root causes. Our work is grounded in collaboration with Aboriginal communities, ensuring solutions are driven by local priorities and cultural knowledge. By fostering opportunities for systemic change, we aim to create safer and more empowered communities across NSW.
The Role:
Looking to use your admin and coordination skills for meaningful impact? Join Just Reinvest NSW’s Moree office as our Business Operations Officer and play a key role in supporting our community-led justice reinvestment initiatives. You’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes – from office coordination and vendor management to systems and governance support – all while contributing to long-term positive change for young people in the Moree community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide high-quality administrative support to enable effective day-to-day operations.
· Coordinate facilities, logistics, and vendor management to support community-driven initiatives.
· Maintain systems, records, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
· Support governance and policy implementation to strengthen organisational effectiveness.
· Foster collaboration across teams and with external stakeholders through responsive operational support.
What We’re Looking For:
· A relevant certificate or diploma; or experience in administration, operations, or business support.
· Strong organisational and coordination skills.
· Experience managing suppliers, logistics, or facilities in a professional environment.
· Confident using and maintaining systems and processes to support smooth service delivery.
· A proactive and collaborative approach to working with internal teams and community partners.
· Great attention to detail and an understanding of compliance, governance, or quality assurance processes.
· A commitment to social justice and the values of community-led change.
Why Join Us?
· Be part of a pioneering organisation driving systemic change to reduce incarceration rates of Aboriginal communities.
· Leave loading and salary packaging options to increase your take home pay.
· Develop your business acumen with mentoring and coaching from senior leadership.
