Frank's BP Service Station in Bourke is a well-established, locally operated fuel and convenience store in the heart of Bourke. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations and contribute to the continued growth of our service station.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum

Main Duties:
· Plan, direct and coordinate daily operations of the service station, including fuel sales and convenience store to ensure smooth and profitable functioning.
· Manage stock procurement, replenishment and control, including coordination with fuel suppliers and merchandise distributors, conducting stocktakes, minimising shrinkage, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
· Maintain supplier relationships for both fuel and store products, negotiate supply contracts and terms of trade, and manage ordering and delivery logistics.
· Monitor financial performance of the business by preparing and managing budgets, analysing sales trends, monitoring profit margins, and implementing strategies to maximise profitability and reduce operational costs.
· Manage customer service delivery, respond to customer complaints or feedback professionally, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
· Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff performance, ensuring adherence to operational policies, service standards. Allocate work schedules, oversee rostering, and handle performance management.
· Develop and implement sales strategies and promotions to increase customer base, boost sales, and promote store loyalty, including use of point-of-sale promotions, discounting strategies, and seasonal offers.
· Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and financial reconciliation, including daily till balancing, banking, EFTPOS monitoring, and fraud prevention.
· Oversee compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, fuel handling regulations, and environmental safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum of bachelor’s degree
· At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar environment
· Experience with budgeting, stock control, and inventory systems.
· Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to address challenges.
