About the Role


Are you passionate about agriculture and financial services? We are looking for a dedicated Relationship Manager to join our team and manage our Agri portfolio. This role will see you work alongside the District Manager and Executive Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer service, while building strong relationships across our Agri, Commercial, and Small Business channels in the region.

What will your day look like?


As a Relationship Manager, you will:


  • Maximise the visibility of the Suncorp Bank brand throughout the region by actively and positively promoting the company at public events.
  • Manage the Bank’s relationship with customers within your assigned portfolio tier
  • Support improvements and monitor the relevant customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolio
  • Assist with understanding of and meeting of holistic customer needs as well as lending needs and collaborate across channels to meet customer needs
  • Design, implement and monitor an annual portfolio business, marketing, and business plan to achieve desired portfolio growth
  • Build genuine relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to drive a ‘one team’ approach ensuring support and service delivery as well as achieving customer and business needs
  • Provide development opportunities for staff to allow the achievement of current and future objectives and Suncorp desired staff satisfaction results


What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:


  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commercial or finance.
  • Solid experience in financial services, with a focus on Agri or rural business.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a diverse portfolio.
  • A good understanding of risk analysis, cash flow management, portfolio growth, and credit assessment.
  • The ability to build lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including customers, team members, and partners.
  • A high level of ethical standards and integrity in all professional interactions.
