The Opportunity

The Quality Assurance Partner will support the Operations Teams regionally to proactively implement the G8 integrated Quality and Risk Management System to facilitate compliance to the National Quality Framework and Assessment and Rating Process.

This role provides a governance function and will monitor and audit & review Centre compliance to obligations as well as providing improvement actions and offering recommendations that will lead to sustained compliance success, exceptional assessment & rating results to create positive outcomes for G8 Stakeholders.

This role is Full-Time on a 12-month contract based in New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support management in the promotion and proactive operationalisation of the National Quality Framework.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of G8 Quality Audit Program, including audit report and support templates to address all areas of compliance including Child Safety and Wellbeing, Work Health and Safety, Food Safety, Environment Sustainability, Emergency Management and document and data control.
  • Participate in Regional meeting forums to support team members to understand the National Quality Framework, and embed quality assurance activities including monitoring, audit and review.
  • Assist the operations leadership team to develop capability in themselves and their team through coaching and feedback relevant to area of expertise.
  • Guide Regional, Area and Centre Managers in maintaining ongoing compliance and preparedness for external audits.
  • Guide and support Centre Managers to enable ongoing learning through ongoing initiation, recording, monitoring and measurement of continuous improvement outcomes.
  • Participate in the development of relevant learning programs, packages and frequently asked questions.
  • Collaborate and support the internal property team on recommended solutions for remediation works relating to regulatory compliance breaches or urgent safety concerns.
  • Promote a values-driven culture by leading by example and demonstrating behaviours consistent with our values.
  • Conduct audits and inspections using ISO19011:2011 audit principles as guidance, analyse data and corroborate finding through documentation review, interview and observations.
  • Undertake appropriate risk management during audits, taking immediate action if medium to extreme risks identified.
  • Identify and report areas for improved corporate support regarding quality policies, procedures, processes and compliance to the Quality Assurance Partner Team Lead.

About You

  • Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • Extensive experience within the Early Education sector, with at least 5 years’ experience in a supervisor or leadership position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place, related laws, regulations, guidelines and best practice.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills that articulate language to meet the audience’s needs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, act quickly, calmly and thoughtfully to mitigate risk.
  • Ability to maintain privacy and dignity and always act in the best interests of G8 Education.
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Flexibility to undertake frequent travel both local and interstate to visit services.
  • Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
